Test your connection before a Face Up session

Before your first role-play, this test checks in a few seconds that your computer and your network are ready. It runs entirely in your browser: no data is sent or stored.

What the test checks

  • Audio and video playback: your browser can handle the audio and video a role-play needs.
  • Network connection: your computer can establish an outbound connection to the internet.
  • Microphone: essential in order to speak to your counterpart.
  • Camera: recommended, it enables verbal and non-verbal analysis.

If something is not green

Every result comes with the action to take, explained without jargon. If the blocker comes from your company network, open the Technical details and share them with your IT team. If in doubt, open a ticket with Face Up support.

Run the test

Click Start test below, then allow the microphone and the camera when your browser asks. The result appears right after.
